About Fish 'n Tripps

The vast majority of our clients want to target Stripers. Stripers are not only an aggressive game fish but are also delicious.

Depending in the time of year we can catch Stripers up to 60lbs or more. Many of our clients will catch up to 20+ of these fish per day.

We fish for Stripers along the shallow waters of our coastline. That means that we can typically be fishing within minutes verses having to long runs out to where the fish are.

We take a number of clients out every year on shark fishing excursions.  These trips are all on a catch and release basis.

Although we target Blue Sharks we will at times hook into a large Mako Shark.  Blue sharks can grow up to 12 ft long and they can put up an incredible fight.

For the more adventurist we do offer Tuna fishing.   Tuna are found further offshore and can be worth the travel time.

Someone once compared the bite of a tuna to that of hooking a compact cars bumper passing you at 45 mph.  There is never any doubt when a tuna hits your bait

Catching Scup is a great family adventure and is very exciting fishing.  It is not uncommon to bring in over 100 fish in a day for a party of 4 fisherman.

Scup can grow up to about 4 pounds and travel in large schools.   Once we locate a school the action seems to never stop and is a great time for younger or novice fishermen.

Black Sea Bass are also found in our waters and are one of Dale’s favorite fish to eat.

The scrappy bottom fish are found in and around structure such as rock piles on the sea floor.

Black Sea Bass are perfectly named as they tend to be black in color.  These fish can run legal size up 6 to 8 lbs plus.
